DHS Old Boys Chairmans Message

The Durban High School Association was founded in March 1992 and its main aims were, and still are, to promote and mentor fellowship amongst past pupils of the School and to promote and maintain close relations between members of the Association and the School.

The Association also raises funds for various initiatives which have been undertaken.

After being privileged to have attended Durban High School, many boys develop friendships that last a lifetime. The Durban High School Association feels that not only is it great to meet up with old friends and reminisce but, at the same time, we feel it is important to keep the pride and the passion for the school where we learnt so much about life and about what it meant to be part of something that's greater than ourselves. To be part of the 'School family' is something all Old Boys can value.

Founders’ Day is held every year on the first Saturday in June. The Association hosts an Old Boys and Friends Dinner and Golf Day on the Friday before and we encourage all Old Boys and Parents to support the School at these events, which are obviously a highlight of the year.

Liz Foster is the Association and Old Boys liaison at the School. She facilities all Reunions, fund raising and initiatives involving Old Boys. Please contact Liz with any queries you may have: liz.foster@durbanhighschool.co.za

We also welcome news about Old Boys and ask you to let Liz know so that we can keep the Old Boys’ News page current and up to date.
