Two of our Matric learners from 2015, Nikyle Bisseru and Aravind Arunakirinathar, were recognised for their outstanding academic achievements in the Matric Final exams at a ceremony held by the Department of Education at the ICC in Durban on Wednesday 6 January 2016.
Nikyle placed 6th overall in KZN and 1st overall in the Umlazi District. Umlazi is the top performing district in KZN.
Aravind placed 3rd in Mathematics in the country (with 100%!) and 1st in KZN. Aravind also attended a ceremony held by the Department of Education in Pretoria on Tuesday at which he was recognised by the Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, for his outstanding achievement in the 2015 Grade 12 exams. Only one other learner from KZN, from Gelofte Skool, was recognised.
Congratulations to these two gentlemen, you have done your School proud!
