The DHS Foundation Trust hosted the Durban High School 150th Corporate Breakfast at Greyville Convention Centre on Friday last week.
The event saw DHS Old Boys, staff from schools around KZN, friends, and key players in the corporate industry, in attendance.
The Master of Ceremonies for the morning was former South African cricketer and current Supersport broadcaster and commentator and CSA high performance batting coach and consultant, Hylton Ackerman, or HD Ackerman as he is known. HD represented South Africa in 1998.
Accompanying him as the Guest Speaker was Greg Blewett, current Australian Fielding Coach and former Australian Cricketer, batsman and fielder, who represented the Australian national cricket team in Test cricket and One Day International matches from 1995 to 2000.
The event started off on a high which maintained throughout with an interesting and informative discussion between Ackerman and Blewett as entertainment for the guests that covered various questions relating to Blewett’s career as a cricketer, his current coaching and his future ambitions in the sport as well as general questions on the current Australian cricket team.
Thank you to the following schools and companies that supported the School at the Breakfast:
