Three of our boys were recently selected to represent South Africa in their various sports.
Matthew Hamilton (17) in Grade 12 was selected for SA Schools and Men’s Youth Water Polo.
In previous years, Matthew has been selected for the KZN Boys U18A Team, as well as the U17 and U18 SA Water Polo sides.
Matthew will be participating in the 3rd FINA Men’s Youth Water Polo Championships to be held in Podgorica, Montenegro at the end of August and the Tri Nations in New Zealand in December.
Sanele Nohamba (17) a Blackmore House boy in Grade 11, has been selected for the U18 SA A Schools Rugby side that will play against England, Wales, France and Italy from August 12 to 20 in Cape Town and Paarl.
Hlumelo Mekuto (17) in Grade 12, also in Blackmore House, has been selected for SA Schools U18B Hockey. He recently participated in the Tri-Nations series in Pretoria.
