Congratulations must go to the Matric Class of 2016 on their excellent Matric results!
In 2016, we registered 187 boys for the National Senior Certificate examinations, with 185 of our boys being resulted – two learners results are incomplete due to illness. 179 DHS boys passed their matriculation examinations, with four failures, which is a 98% pass rate; and 156 received Bachelor passes which is 87%.
We are particularly pleased with the 87% Bachelor pass rate, which is up from 75% last year.
Our top 2 learners, Joshua Spooner and Hassen Moorad did exceptionally well, both receiving 92% averages.
Hassen was invited to attend the Awards Ceremony at the ICC where he was presented with an award for being 2nd in KZN for Mathematics with 99%.
Joshua remains Dux for 2016 as he received 2 more points than Hassen.
