At a recent Assembly, 34 Grade 11 learners were selected to take on the leadership role of mentors.
These young men are required to act as a supporting role in the transition of the Grade 8’s from Primary School to High School by giving them advice; assisting them should they need help and encouraging them to get involved in school activities – a “big brother” role to help make their first year of High School a positive one.
The selection process saw the Grade 11 learners applying for the position and then being selected upon various criteria which included their show of leadership in school activities.
