The DHS Choir performed at the Choir Festival at Our Lady of Fatima last week and they were outstanding. The audience received them with thunderous applause, especially when they sang their arrangement of our National Anthem.
We received this wonderful email below:
“I attended my daughters choir evening on Wednesday night at Our Lady of Fatima. Part of the lineup included a performance by the DHS choir.
Wow! – what a privilege to have witnessed first hand such an excellent and thoroughly emotive performance.
Well done to the choir and the masters involved! They have done DHS proud.”
Natalie Rungan, Director of the Chris Seabrooke Music Centre, says “The boys are really growing and coming into their own. They are preparing for the SABC recording next Saturday at the City Hall. I will keep you updated when that will be aired on TV.”
The Lunch Hour Concerts are also being very well received and the audience is building very quickly, which is so exciting to see happening. The interest from the boys is also growing which is equally exciting.
We look forward to seeing you at this week and next week’s concerts … Thursdays from 13h05 to 13h25.
Altitude on 25 May and Pop Vocal Group on 1 June …
