On Friday afternoon 19 May the Durban High School RCL hosted the first RCL Strategic Growth and Development seminar.
Close to a hundred learners from both private and public schools attended the function which included presentations from Dr E de Lange (Provincial Executive Officer of The Governing Body Foundation), Mr Mfundo Shoal (motivational speaker), Mr Winston Owen (Chairman of the DHS School Governing Body), Danville Girls’ High RCL, Durban High School RCL and the Department of Education Governance and Management delegates.
At the end of the seminar Mrs Zwezwe from the Department of Education congratulated the RCL Chairman, Samkelo Ntetha, on organizing the event and awarded a Department of Education Umlazi District trophy in recognition of a Chairman and RCL with vision.
