A huge thank you to KES for hosting us at their Easter Hockey Festival from 29 March to 2 April.
The Festival has set a great platform for us going into the domestic fixtures. We definitely started a little jet lagged, with some disappointing results, but ended the week with some huge improvements. We competed with some really top teams, but unfortunately, we missed some crucial opportunities which would have reflected the Boys’ efforts and vast advancements as a team.

We used the week to plan and bring pride back into DHS Hockey and the Boys came up with a new Hockey war cry which will be used going forward.
It won’t happen over night but there has definitely been a huge improvement in the Boys’ Hockey.
DHS 1-3 Parktown Boys’
DHS 0-6 KES
DHS 0-1 Jeppe (only one half was played due to bad light)
DHS 2-4 Affies
DHS 0-3 St John’s
