To the DHS Family
The SGB Maintenance sub-committee is currently on a drive to improve the appearance of areas of our School before Founders Day, which is in less than a month’s time.
An area that has been identified as requiring TLC is the seating around the sports fields. The benches just might be as old as the School is and we think it’s time to renew them!
A quotation has been obtained from Envirotimbers for 3-seater benches at R2500 each, which includes a plaque to indicate who the bench is donated by.
Approximately 15 benches are required and we would like to ask for your assistance to purchase them.
Contribution Options:
Individual – one person donates one or more benches.
Group – a group effort to contribute towards a bench or two, eg, donated by the 1st Team Cricket 2018, or the U16A Waterpolo team, or the Jones Family, etc.
The 2018 Grade 8s, the future Class of 2022, have already started the ball rolling by donating the first bench! Thank you, Grade 8s!
Contributions can be paid into the School bank account, with deposit reference: 9175/025 plus your name.
