Welcome, Dr Stuart Clifton

Stuart Clifton

We welcome Dr Stuart Clifton into the Physics Department at Durban High School.
Stuart is an Old Boy (Class of ’96) and has joined the Physics department from the medical world.
Stuart was a part-time staff member at DUT for 10 years until the teaching bug finally got him studying a PGCE at Edgewood in 2018.  He completed his teaching practice here at his old school.
Stuart was capped 50 times for DHS 1st XI Cricket under the late Geoff Mace, he played Natal U19 under coach Andrew Shedlock, and Premier League cricket for many years. His cricket expertise is now being put to use with the DHS U16A team.
Stuart is still a sportsman, having run 6 Comrades, and he will be starting his 14th Dusi Canoe Marathon this week.
He is a husband and father to two young boys and family time and spending time outdoors is high on his priority list.
We are glad to welcome this Horsefly back to the Blue and Gold!
