The Class of 2019 produced another fine set of results for our School. The overall pass rate was 98,8%, with two boys narrowly missing a pass. We trust they will pass their supplementary exam, thereby giving us a 100% pass.
The 162 Matric boys who were resulted achieved a total of 156 A symbols, with a Bachelor Pass rate of 72.8%. The overall aggregate of the Class of 2019 was 62%.
The release of the 2019 Grade 12 results was met with excitement as one of our learners was acknowledged for his academic excellence at a special function hosted at the Durban International Convention Centre … Rashae Govender, Dux of 2019, was placed 5th in the Umlazi District, which is the biggest district in KZN. Well done, Rashae!
Rashae was Dux at Senior Prize-Giving and he remains Dux for the NSC, with an overall average of 94%.
Abdul Osman and Thirushan Pather both also retain their Senior Prize-Giving positions, being 2nd and 3rd with averages of 93% and 90%, respectively.
