Congratulations to the following young gentlemen of DHS who have achieved in the following areas:
- Naseem Essa and Sachen Pather participated in the South African Junior Chess Championships, playing for the Ethekwini U18A team, which was placed first and won Gold. Naseem won 6 out of 7 of his games and won the Board 1 Prize. This means he was ranked 1st out of 2240 participating players in the tournament.

- Sharik Ramjee received a Cambridge South Africa High Achievement Award for obtaining 95% in his Cambridge International Mathematics exam.
