Head Master, Mr A D Pinheiro said he was very proud of Sharik and that the award recognised the talent, dedication and commitment of both learners and staff.
We asked Sharik to say a few words:
“My names is Sharik Soham Ramjee and I am 16 years old. My favourite subject is Mathematics. I enjoy everything about the subject, and I find all the interesting puzzles that you can solve using it extremely fascinating. I enjoy problem solving and finding solutions for different questions. I am very passionate about Math and have a knack at understanding complex concepts regarding the subject. Even throughout primary school I managed to get the Math award a number of times.
My goal is to become an actuary and I have been working very hard to make this goal a reality. To me it’s not just the numbers that count but the hard work, time and effort you have to put into achieving your goals. I try to be a role model to many people and try to inspire them to achieve their goals and be the best versions of themselves that they can be.”
