We are delighted to announce that Adam Mohamed (Class of 2020) has been accepted to study at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the USA.
“Adam Mohamed has blown us away with this incredible achievement which he managed and applied for all on his own. He has been driven to gain knowledge and achieve since he entered the Cambridge Academy at DHS. He maintained his sports, cultural activities and other selfless giving back to the school, all while working consistently towards his dream, Harvard. Adam was a mentor to so many others, helping and explaining, but never letting go of his dream. Well, realisation of what seemed so remote has come true. I, his teachers, his peers and his school couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations!”
Carolyn Dickinson
Head of Cambridge & Nonpareil Academy
Adam received his acceptance letter as a result of his superb Cambridge results, which were as follows:
Computer Science 96% (A* Level)
Physical Science 92% (A* Level)
Mathematics 92% (A* Level)
Chemistry 89% (AS Level)
English 88% (AS Level)
Harvard College was founded in 1636, and is the oldest institution of higher education in the United States. It is ranked #2 in National Universities and has an acceptance rate of less than 5% so Adam’s acceptable is an incredible achievement.
Adam is to be our Special Guest at Junior Prize-Giving on Friday 23 April, we look forward to seeing him and hearing what he has to say.
Deo Fretus!
