Cambridge Top Mathematician

Abhay Nunan is the top Cambridge Mathematician in South Africa!

We are running out of words for both Abhay Nunan and the DHS Cambridge Academy. DHS are beyond proud to announce that Abhay has produced a set of results for Cambridge IGSCE International Mathematics that places him as the top student in South Africa.

Abhay truly is a role model to all students and as a school we could not be prouder to announce that one of very own has achieved this monumental feat.

 

Cricket

DHS Cricketers produce outstanding performances at DSE (Dolphins School of Excellence) Tournament!

Congratulations to our 1st XI Captain Bongumusa Shezi and his fellow 1st XI teammate, Lutendo Tsanwani, on their phenomenal performances at the DSE Tournament.

Bongumusa was awarded Player of the Tournament and Lutendo bagged the prize of Bowler of the Tournament!

The DSE is an initiative set up by Dolphins Cricket to develop youth Cricket where they hold a tournament throughout the various age groups. Boys from all the KZN Schools participate and teams are selected by means of a draft system.

Congratulations to the two of you on the brilliant performances and achievements, you have done School very proud.

 

The President’s Award

Riley Clarivette wins The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment!

DHS are honoured to announce that one of our very own pupils, Riley Clarivette has won The President’s Award!

The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment is proudly The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in South Africa. The programme brings together practical experiences and life skills, builds confidence, encourages physical health and recreation and also motivates young people to engage with their communities.

We are so incredibly proud of Riley’s achievement as he seems destined to follow many DHS Old Boys’ footsteps as a prominent leader in South Africa’s society.

 

Fishing

Kaden Mckenzie selected for KZN Fishing!

Congratulations to Kaden Mckenzie who has been selected by the Natal Deep Sea Angling Association to represent KZN at the Junior Gamefish Nationals. Remarkably, Kaden has been fishing since he has been 3 years old. We are very proud of you and this much deserved recognition of your passion and talent, Kaden.
