Hamba Kahle, Mr Ncwane!

Farewell to Mr Ncwane, who has served DHS with distinction for 30 years!

It was a very bittersweet and emotional day at School today as we bid farewell to Mr Musa Ncwane with the entire DHS Grade 8 Class of 2022 forming a tunnel as he walks into retirement.

Mr Ncwane is nothing short of a legend at DHS. His 30 years of service started on 25 July in 1992 and sadly ended today on 31 May 2022 as he takes his first step into the most well-deserved retirement.

In the words of our Head Master, Mr Pinheiro, Mr Ncwane is the ultimate Gentleman who constantly has a smile on his face and is one of the most well-mannered human beings he has ever come across.

He has also been a shining light of safety as he has handled the ‘Lollipop Man’ duties for countless years outside the famous Main Gates of DHS, with not one DHS pupil being harmed under his entire watch.

Mr Ncwane, you will be sorely missed, and the entire DHS Family would like to wish you the happiest, peaceful and most enjoyable retirement, Sir!
