Economics – 2nd in District:

We are so incredibly proud to congratulate Emmanuel Onyemauche (Class of 2022) on his achievement of placing 2nd in the Umlazi District for Economics in the NSC final exams!

Harvard University:

Nureldin Mohamed, Cambridge Dux 2022, has been selected for Harvard University on his Cambridge AS results (A grades) and his predicted A Level results, with Full Financial Assistance. We are so proud of this outstanding achievement as his acceptance comes two weeks before the closing date for entries. The chosen study pathway he is weighing up is between Computer Science and Biological Engineering. He will take up his place in August and until then he is considering his options of writing further research papers to add to his first two, and to possibly continue giving back to DHS’s Elective Programme by continuing to teach Web Design and Machine Design which he taught three full classes a week for 2022.

Nureldin follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Cambridge Dux 2020 Old Boy, Adam Mohamed, who was also selected for Harvard with full financial assistance and A* (>90%) for all three A Level subjects. He is completing his second year in Computer Science.

Congratulations to Leruo Ditlhakanyane who has been invited to the SA U21 Hockey Camp. Leruo was selected last year as a 17-year-old for SA Schools U18A, and for him to start off his Matric year with this achievement is simply incredible.

We are so proud of you Leruo, may you continue to go from strength to strength!

Congratulations to Ewan Stayt who has been selected for the KZN U15A Boys Touch Rugby Team!
