Durban High School conducted the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) elections for the Executive Members on Thursday,16 February 2023.
The entire process was overseen by an independent electoral officer, Headmaster of Glenwood Preparatory, Mr N Ingle. This was to ensure that the elections of the Executive RCL members was a fair and transparent process.
Apart from bringing order and harmony in schools, the members of the Representative Council of Learners are tasked with creating healthy relationships, fostering a spirit of mutual respect, good manners and morality among learners.
The outcome of the Election was as follows:
Chairman – Abhay Nunan
Vice Chairman – Mphululi Dimaza
Treasurer – Khwezi Shabane
Secretary – Riley Clarivette
