Time certainly stood still for our boys when the Class of 2023 celebrated their much-anticipated Matric Dance with such style and elegance on Saturday 11 March.
The Greyville Convention Centre was once again flooded by a parade of luxury vehicles. One thing is for certain, our boys certainly know how to arrive in style worthy of celebrities. We were all blown away, and sometimes deafened, by the arrival of our stars in their limousines, Hummers, taxis, party busses and the ordinary Ford Rangers. No cost was spared in ensuring a memorable arrival. Bruce and David, our photographers from Head Hunters, had their work cut out for them as they worked tirelessly in ensuring they captured every arrival.
The clean yet opulent décor of white, silver and a hint of turquoise created a romantic, elegant setting for an amazing evening. Once again, Cameron of The Gallery Lifestyle Decor outdid himself in creating a beautiful setting for our dance.
As per tradition, Mr Pinheiro and his lovely wife, Colleen, welcomed all our guests to a fun filled evening. Each place setting was carefully and meticulously arranged with the boys’ personalised class ring, and a handmade bracelet for their partners.
Once the formalities were completed everyone indulged in a scrumptious three course full buffet style dinner. Peggy and her team from the Greyville Convention Centre outdid themselves in ensuring the best quality food was served. The delectable desserts included the most divine cheese cakes.
AK and his team had the guests on the floor dancing to the beats right until it was time to leave. A huge thank you to all the service providers for ensuring we all had an amazing evening.
